I was born into a family of sculptors and spent all my life in the city. While growing up I was surrounded by art, and inspired by aesthetic art forms and their sensational beauty.
After two years of experience in working in a magic world of jewellery stones, I focused on learning jewellery art- graduating from the Estonian Academy of Arts.
As a city girl, I have always had the dream of discovering nature`s beauty, and this has inspired me when working with jewellery. When learning jewellery art, I undertook a course, under the supervision of Karl Fritsch, in the technology of casting metals. This has inspired me to this day to produce jewellery by casting in silver and gold. Using wax I can create jewellery like a sculpture- carving, forming, shaping, modelling, etc.
Therefore, having grown up surrounded by sculptures with "hands in a clay pot", my thinking process is multi-dimensional and space orientated.
Inspired by the forms found in nature the jewellery is cast by me with care and love. Each item of jewellery and detailing is unique, non-repetitive and formed by my touch.
